We are excited to announce the launch of “Digital Storytelling for Impact”, the second intensive online training course under the You SI Net Reload project, which we are proud to coordinate.
Digital Storytelling for Impact is an 8-week course starting on the 4th of September 2024 and will be conducted by our partner Icelex, aimed at young social innovators from Spain, Italy, Morocco, Jordan, Tunisia, and Egypt. The training focuses on the use of digital storytelling to highlight the impact of social initiatives in the post-pandemic era.
Objective of the Digital Storytelling for Impact Course:
- ● The goal is to enhance the narrative skills and digital competencies of young changemakers, enabling them to showcase the impact of their initiatives on their communities.
What You Will Learn:
- ● Digital Storytelling Techniques: Learn how to use digital cameras, social networks, and other technologies to create impactful stories and increase engagement in your initiatives.
- ● Strategic Storytelling: Learn to define clear objectives, understand your audience, and measure the impact of your stories.
- ● Promoting Social Innovation: Showcase successful cases and innovative initiatives in the post-COVID-19 world.
Course Modules:
- ● Online Learning: 6 hours in total.
- ● Interactive Group Discussions: Led by industry experts.
- ● Practical Mini-Assignments: Develop your storytelling strategies through hands-on tasks.
Course Registration and Duration
The course is completely free and will be conducted in English. Registrations are open from the 24th of July until the 31st of August 2024 (until 5:00 PM Italian time).
The course will run from the 4th of September until the 23rd of October 2024.
Duration: 24 hours, divided into 8 sessions (3 hours per session); 1 session per week.

Beyond the training:
After the course, selected youth workers will be supported by local social innovation experts to implement pilot actions in their respective countries. These actions will be documented using digital storytelling techniques, showcasing and amplifying the impact of the You SI Net Reload project.
