Project Ahead, Change Hubs for Ecosystemic Social Solutions (CHESS) italian action partner will organise four cooperative workshops to test different social innovation tools.
CHESS project funded by Horizon Europe programme, aims to take advantage the full potential of social innovation by contrubuting to improve its application through already existing social innovation tools and by helping social innovators to interact in innovation ecosystems.
With a learning by doing, CHESS ponts out to achieve these goals through the design, implementation and test of a toolkit. It will be experimented in four differente European country – Slovenia, Italy, Lithuania and Greece- to find solution to four different social challanges..
In Italy it has been chosen as a challenge youth and female unemployement. Project Ahead’s workshops programmed between september 2023 and november 2023, will take place in four Southern Italy regions – Campania, Calabria, Puglia e Sicilia – and will gather the most important local social innovators and stakeholders. During the discussion group, social innovation tools will be experimented and improved to facilitate the cooperation on the chosen challenge.
CHESS’s learning partner – Social Innovation Exchange (SIX), International Society for Professional Innovation Management (ISPIM) e Technische Universität Dortmund (TUDO) – with an enourmous experience on social innovation, will support the implementation process of the chosen tools in the pilot countries The results will merge in a Social Innovation in Action Manual destined to innovators and organizzations from social innovation ecosystems all around Europe.
The first Italian workshop will take place in Campania, on September 29th from 10am to 5pm inDialogue Place coworking space.
