“Training for Facilitators on Social Innovation” the new online course from You Si Net Reloaded is about to start
Registrations are open from September 25 for the “Training for Facilitators on Social Innovation” the new online training course from our You SI Net Reload project. The course is aimed at facilitators and youth workers from Italy, Spain, Morocco, Jordan, Tunisia, and Egypt who want to bring social innovation into schools.
Led by our partner, APG Agenzia Promozione Giovani, the course focuses on strengthening the skills necessary to collaborate with educational institutions and implement non-formal educational methodologies.
Are you ready to revolutionize high school education through Social Innovation?
This course will guide you in understanding the concept of social innovation and its application in education. You will learn non-formal educational methodologies to be applied in schools, planning and implementing innovative, socially impactful activities that stimulate creativity and critical thinking.
You will also have the opportunity to build lasting connections with teachers and educational institutions and receive personalized support and mentoring to develop local actions.

- • How to apply social innovation within the school system
- • Methods to actively engage students in educational activities, stimulating creativity and critical thinking
- • Strategies to build partnerships with schools and launch concrete projects

Who can participate
The course Training for Facilitators on Social Innovation is open to youth workers, teachers, volunteers, and activists from six Mediterranean countries: Italy, Spain, Egypt, Morocco, Jordan, and Tunisia. A good command of the English language, familiarity with digital platforms, and strong motivation to bring change and new ideas into schools through social innovation are required. This course is ideal for those looking to build strong and innovative connections between the formal and non-formal education sectors.

How to register and course duration
The course is fully online, completely free, and will be conducted in English.
Registrations are open from September 26 to October 30 (until 11:59 PM CET), 2024, on the Salto platform.
The course will last 5 weeks, with a total of 15 hours divided into 5 sessions (3 hours per weekly session) and will run from November 20 to December 18, 2024, every Wednesday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM CET.
Note: Those who complete the online course will receive a YouthPass certificate.
Local activities in high schools will be scheduled from January to June 2025, followed by results-sharing sessions from June to September 2025.
